Founded in the summer of 2016, the Youth Queer Straight Alliance is a safe space for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning) youth and allies in the Middleboro, MA area to come together with other youth with common interests, beliefs, experiences, and backgrounds to talk about issues they may not feel comfortable discussing with others in their day-to-day lives.
YQSA meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm at North Congregational Church, 38 Plymouth Street, Middleboro, MA. YQSA is supported by North Congregational Church, United Church of Christ (UCC), an open and affirming congregation, but is non-religious in nature.
Recognizing that LGBTQ youth in rural areas are often underserved and overlooked, our mission is to provide a safe space for LGBTQ youth and allies ages 12-18 in the greater Middleboro area. Our leadership team is dedicated to LGBTQ advocacy and outreach.

We offer a support group for Parents on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month. Parents meet separately but at the same location as youth (6:30-8:00pm). We are also committed to making youth and parents aware of resources in the community and online.
